Trash Talk is a project I designed for a class on informal economies led by Steve Daniels and Justin Levinson of MKSHFT. We had a couple weeks to research and understand an informal economy and design a prototype intervention. My team discovered that until they realize there are tried and true methods to dumpster diving, non--practicioners look down upon it. So with input from pros, we designed a way to inform and engage more people in safe and effective dumpster diving practices.

 

Trash Talk is a trifold brochure that delivers best food-salvaging practices and strategies in an effort to promote action and awareness around supermarket food waste.
